The FBI and our local law enforcement are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating three subjects responsible for at least five armed robberies in the past 10 days, the FBI said.
All of the robberies have targeted 7-Eleven stores in the Philadelphia suburbs and taken place between midnight and 2 a.m., the FBI said.
One subject generally guards the door while the other two armed robbers confront a store employee, display a gun, make threats, and demand money.
On several occasions, the subjects have gone behind the front counter to intimidate or physically assault the employee, then take money and other items.
The dates and locations:
• July 22: 2370 Dutton Mill Road, Aston Township
• July 22: 143 W. Eagle Road, Haverford Township
• July 27: 1307 Chester Pike, Sharon Hill
• July 30: 791 Horsham Road, Montgomery Township, Montgomery County
• July 30: 932 Street Road, Upper Southampton Township, Bucks County.
In the most recent robberies over the weekend, only two of the armed robbers were present and participated.
The subjects are described as three Black males. They have concealed their faces with masks and sunglasses and worn gloves, the FBI said.
These subjects are considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information on these robberies or these subjects is asked to call the FBI at 215-418-4000 or go to tips.fbi.gov.
A reward is being offered for information leading to these subjects’ arrests; tipsters can remain anonymous.
