Deborah A. Sheridan, 67, of Wall Township passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2023. Deborah was born in Jersey City and grew up in Belmar.
After graduating from St Rose High School, she began working at the Daily Racing Form. She worked there for over 20 years, making friendships that lasted her lifetime. She switched careers and became a legal secretary and for the last 17 years worked in the law office of Barrett & Pavluk.
Deb was a loyal, generous and hilarious sister, aunt and friend. She loved watching old movies and reading a good book. She enjoyed buying presents for herself and her friends. She will be profoundly missed.
Deborah was predeceased by her parents William and Eileen (née Docker) and her brother Mark W Sheridan.
She is survived by her sister, Joanne Peck, and her brother-in-law, Joseph Peck; her nephews, William Sheridan and his wife Savanna, and Michael Sheridan. She thought of Nicole Crotty and Rebecca Metzner as her nieces. Her family at Barrett & Pavluk, her DRF family and many friends along the way.
A memorial visitation will take place on Friday, August 4, 2023 from 4-7 p.m. with a service being held at 6:30 p.m. at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy 35 at New Bedford Rd., Wall.
To honor Deb’s generosity the family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to Mary’s Place by the Sea, 22 Main Ave, Ocean Grove NJ 07756.
