Elizabeth ‘Betty’ Robertson passed away peacefully at home on July 6, 2023 at the age of 92. Born in Elizabeth NJ, Betty worked at Sears Roebuck in Neptune for over 25 years. After retirement, she volunteered with the Point Pleasant Boro chapter of Friends of the Library. She will be remembered by her family and friends for her fierce loyalty and generosity. Her love for reading and learning, and her inquisitive nature were encouraged by her brother, Don, whom she adored. Betty’s quick wit could be disarming to strangers due to her elegant, fashionable presence. Betty was predeceased by her husbands Robert Leaming and William Robertson. She is survived by her daughters Susan St. Germain and Christine Conroy, her beloved sons in law, Steve St. Germain and Kevin Conroy, her 9 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. Betty cared deeply about Alzheimer’s research.
