I’m taking an impromptu trip this week, I found a great deal on a flight to Palm Springs so I’ll be spending two days in that town and I’m taking a drive out to Joshua Tree to shoot some pictures too. That area is such a cool part of California, you can drive around and see all the mid century modern architecture in Palm Springs, and just thirty minutes out of town experience the bohemian desert energy of Yucca Valley and Joshua Tree.
I have a few painting projects waiting for me when I get back, I’m arranging a family gallery wall in black and white upstairs and painting the kitchen and family room too. Just a few more weeks of summer then it’s back to school. I’m soaking up as much sun and relaxation as possible until that day comes. 🙂
