There are a few home developments under construction in my county so I went to look at the models since I love to gather inspiration from homes that are professionally styled. I noticed a lot of lovely texture and textiles as I toured the homes but the one thing that popped out at me was the creative walls in the kid’s rooms. Several had been painted with color blocking and stripes. I don’t get to decorate kid spaces anymore so I live vicariously through others who are raising their littles.
In kid spaces, there are so many ways to use paint creatively to add playful color and pattern. As we all know about paint, it’s easy to change in a few years later when the kids grow up or tastes change. Below are three of the kid spaces I captured on my phone while touring local model homes, I especially like the color blocked nursery walls.
