Norman’s Hallmark, an employee-owned company and the nation’s largest independent owner of Gold Crown Hallmark stores, this month opened a new location at Ocean Heights Plaza, 319 Bethel Road in Somers Point. The store features an expansive selection of card and specialty gift items in a modern and easy-to-shop environment.
The retail shop occupies more than 6,000 square feet at Ocean Heights Plaza, making it one of Norman’s “super store” locations.
“We are pleased to bring one of our larger, full-format stores to the local community,” Howard Henschel, Norman’s Hallmark president and chief executive officer said. “Ocean Heights Plaza is a high-quality, easily accessible shopping center that’s home to numerous top national brands, including a ShopRite supermarket. It’s a great place for us to be as we expand Norman’s store portfolio in the Southern New Jersey market.”
Norman’s offers a complete line of Hallmark products, cards for every occasion and keepsake ornaments, along with a diverse merchandise selection for gift giving and the home that includes fashion apparel and accessories, books, stationery, games, home décor, specialty candy and gourmet foods.
Norman’s Hallmark currently operates more than 70 locations. With roots dating back over 80 years, Norman’s Hallmark has grown from a single retail store in Trenton to a leading force in the social expression industry. The Newtown, Pa.-based company continues to grow its brick-and-mortar footprint throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and in recent years expanded into Delaware and northern Maryland; it also maintains a strong ecommerce presence.
