honeygrow, the Philadelphia-based fast-casual restaurant chain with over 33 locations, just signed a lease at Glenwood Green shopping center, which will be built on 30 acres of land at Shulmeister Road on Route 9 in Old Bridge.
This will be honeygrow’s sixth location in New Jersey, joining its Cherry Hill, Marlton, Hamilton, New Brunswick and Hoboken restaurants. The Old Bridge honeygrow is a lynchpin to expanding the company’s presence throughout the state, bridging brand awareness between South and North Jersey. The Old Bridge restaurant has an anticipated opening date of late spring 2024, bringing more than 35 full-and part-time jobs to the shopping center.
Jeff Howard and Matt Grundy of Ripco Real Estate represented honeygrow in the transaction.
honeygrow will join a mix of local and national brands like Target and ShopRite in a pedestrian-friendly, lifestyle-focused shopping center. The curated mix of brands positions the shopping center as a destination of choice for the more than 1,200 new neighborhood residences that are currently under construction, as well as surrounding neighborhoods.
“The Glenwood Green location is a natural next step for honeygrow to strengthen our brand presence throughout New Jersey and bridge the gap between existing honeygrow restaurants in the Northeast corridor,” Justin Rosenberg, founder and CEO of honeygrow, said. “We are thrilled to introduce honeygrow to Old Bridge and to continue to exceed our guests’ expectations in providing craveable, creative and healthy meal options.”
honeygrow features a menu of six year-round stir-frys (all under 800 calories) and five hearty and healthy salads (under 700 calories), plus create-your-own versions of stir-fry or salad, offering something for everyone. Customers choose a base (noodles, rice, or a selection of greens), a protein (beef, chicken, shrimp, tofu, or egg), add-ins and garnishes with an endless variety of options ranging from veggies, fruits and cheeses to chili crisps and roasted garlic. There are five sauces (Sweet Soy Five Spice, Garlic Butter, Red Coconut Curry, Sesame Garlic and Spicy Garlic) or six dressings (Asian Sesame Ginger, Tuscan Herb, White Balsamic Vinaigrette, Classic Caesar, Olive Oil + Balsamic Vinegar or a simple Lime Squeeze) to choose from as the last step.
