The amenity package for Summit Court, a 393-unit, luxury multifamily community in Union, was pretty impressive.
There was a community clubhouse, a pool and sundeck surrounded by barbecue and dining areas as well as fire pits and lounge seating outdoors — and a fitness center (featuring Peloton bikes); cardio/strength center; a Wi-Fi lounge with a gaming area; a pet grooming area; and a resident lounge with a catering kitchen indoors.
Then, there was the location — less than a mile from Kean University in an area where Union, Morris and Essex counties converge.
For those reasons, Diversified Properties was confident the property would lease up. It has happened. The community is more than 90% leased.
“As we near 100% occupancy and celebrate another milestone, we are deeply proud of all that we’ve accomplished since the inception of this project,” Nicholas Minoia, founder and managing partner of Diversified Properties, said.
“Summit Court now stands as one of our shining achievements and, more importantly, a place that hundreds of residents can be proud to call home.”
Beyond the amenity package, each of Summit Court’s one- and two-bedroom residences offers the latest features in modern apartment living, including dramatic 9-foot ceilings, private balconies, sleek kitchens with quartz countertops, Whirlpool stainless steel appliances, in-home washers and dryers, oversized showers with floor-to-ceiling tile and wood-inspired plank flooring.
The community also has walkability to the Union New Jersey Transit station with direct access to Midtown Manhattan. Its location also affords easy access to the Garden State Parkway, Interstate 78 and Route 22 as well as Newark Liberty International Airport.
