POTTSTOWN — Mud, steady drizzles and occasional cloudbursts did little to blur the focus of thousands of players all aiming to capture some of the $130,000 in prizes at the Pottstown Volleyball Rumble in Memorial Park.
Now in its 30th year, the Rumble bills itself as the largest grass volleyball tournament in the world and last year boasted 5,500 players.

Saturday was the second in the three-day competition and weather was a definite factor for players and spectators alike, the latter trying to stay dry and the former resigning themselves to being soaked.
The Men’s and Women’s Doubles, including the Women’s Pro Playoffs and Final, were Saturday’s main event and Sunday will features Co-ed Doubles, Quads, and the Men’s Pro Playoffs and Final.
