With heavy hearts, the family of Edward J. Wilczewski, announces his passing. Age 86, Edward passed away on May 21st, with his wife and children by his side. Born and raised in Jersey City, Edward has resided in Wall Township for the last 49 years.
Mr. Wilczewski proudly served in the United States Army and was stationed in Korea.
Edward started his career with Western Electric in 1955 and went on to work for AT&T for 35 years. He was a parishioner of St. Denis and had taught computer classes at St. Denis School.
Edward was Past Commander of the Manasquan VFW Post 1838 and a member of the Manasquan Elks.
He loved watching Rutgers Football and spending time at the Manasquan Inlet. He also enjoyed Snickers and photography and will be remembered for his witty sense of humor.
He is predeceased by his mother and father, Eva Czarnecki and Walter Wilczewski, his brother, Walter Wilczewski, and his sister, Barbara Manning.
Surviving are his beloved wife of 66 years, Irene Wilczewski; his loving children, Gail Wilczewski and Scott Wilczewski and his wife, Denise, along with a niece, Karen Witczak, also of Wall Township; many nieces and a nephew.
There will be a private graveside service held at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Wrightstown.
