A Pittsburgh man is facing felony counts of possession with the intent to deliver after an incident in which he allegedly ran from police, fell down a hill and was later found with a bag containing drugs.The incident began Thursday in the city’s Northview Heights neighborhood when police were called to Lamar Street for a PFA violation.Police said they gathered information on the scene that the suspect was Daron Freeman, 26, of Pittsburgh, and officers said they later saw him sitting near the Perrysville Market and attempted to make contact.Police said Freeman then ran and ended up on a heavily wooded hill where he fell down to the ground.According to police, Freeman later ran on a football field nearby and was arrested by an approaching officer.Police said they searched Freeman and found a baggie with loose bundles of heroin and another baggie inside that was filled with crack cocaine.Police said Freeman also complained of being injured from the fall dow the hill and was taken to the hospital, after which he was later cleared to be taken to jail.Freeman was arraigned early Friday morning.
