Philadelphia police investigate hit-and-run incident with multiple injuries in Center City near City Hall

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — A mother and her three children were struck and injured in a hit-and-run crash near City Hall in Philadelphia on Sunday night.

Police say the four victims were struck on Broad and Arch streets at approximately 10:15 p.m.

Officials say the mother was transported to Jefferson Hospital and is in critical condition at this time.

She is suffering from head trauma, according to police.

Her three children, who are between the ages of nine and 15, are all in stable condition according to officials.

A dark green or grey Jeep Cherokee with front end damage and no lights fled the scene heading westbound, according to police.

The car was last seen driving at a high rate of speed.
