Five people were injured Wednesday after a head-on crash involving a Pittsburgh Regional Transit bus. The crash happened around 10 a.m. near Cedar Avenue and Suismon Street on Pittsburgh’s North Side. PRT spokesperson Adam Brandolph said a car crossed struck a Route 8 Perrysville bus. The driver of the car was breathing but unconscious and was taken to Allegheny General Hospital. The driver of the bus, along with three passengers, were also taken to AGH for non-serious injuries. PRT says 16 passengers were on the bus when the accident happened.
