Two-time defending state champion Morris Catholic is the top seed in the 2023 Morris County softball tournament.
The 24-team tournament will culminate with semifinals and final held at Landing Park Recreational Complex in Roxbury. The hometown Gaels are the No. 2 seed.
The top eight seeds − including both of last year’s finalists: Roxbury and Montville − received first-round byes The Mustangs look to defend their county title as the No. 4 seed in the bracket.
