Rutgers University has a Top 50 overall ranking for full-time MBA programs, according to the prestigious rankings released by U.S. News & World Report on Tuesday morning.
With a score of 65 (out of 100), Rutgers tied for No. 45 overall with the graduate MBA programs at Texas A&M University and the College of William & Mary.
Stevens Institute of Technology, with a score of 59, finished in a tie for No. 53 with the University of Arizona.
New Jersey Institute of Technology, with a score of 31, finished in a tie for No. 112.
Rutgers, Stevens and NJIT were the only schools from New Jersey to be ranked among the 149 honored. (Princeton University does not have an MBA program.)
U.S. News ranks graduate programs in a number of specialty categories (ranking as many as 10 to 50 in certain areas). Rutgers was the only New Jersey school to be honored, as it ranked in a tie for No. 9 in supply chain — along with Purdue University and Stanford University.
While Rutgers was tops in the state, it was behind most of its Big Ten counterparts, finishing No. 10 in the conference.
The University of Chicago finished No. 1 overall for full-time MBA programs, followed by Northwestern University, the University of Pennsylvania, Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Harvard University.
