1-2-3 A Healthy Me began as a collaboration between the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit, the Montgomery County Office of Public Health, and Abington-Jefferson Health to create fun, interactive lessons to introduce children 3-5 years old to healthy behaviors.
1-2-3 A Healthy Me has 8 units that focus on physical activity, fruits and vegetables, portion sizes, the importance of water, and Go, Slow, and Whoa foods. This program is delivered both virtually and in-person.
Each unit includes two videos – a pre-recorded children’s video and a pre-recorded parent video. The parent video will provide fun and easy things to do at home with your kids to reinforce what was learned in their lesson. This program is funded by the PA. Department of Health and Health Services Block Grant.
