We’re renting our Florida home this month and I was asked the source of our coffee table that sits in our living room. It was an online purchase and when I went to look up the source I discovered it’s no longer available. Sad news because it was such a great buy and fits the minimalist coastal aesthetic of this space so well.
The top has a spliced wood design with a two tone textured finish that is very cool up close. I don’t worry about wear and tear since the top is already distressed and will hide it well. I like its circular design in contrast to the more angular sofa and chairs.
I have always been drawn to the pale woods that fit the coastal style, especially distressed or whitewashed textures which contribute to a lived in, casual, relaxing aesthetic. I sourced this coffee table online which is the closest to mine, although it has metal legs. Below are a few more that would also be right at home in coastal style living room.
wood top wicker / tapered pedestal
rattan & glass / unfinished curved leg
fluted pedestal / abstract cutout
