Smash-and-grab – On Thursday, April 6, at approximately 8:45 p.m., store employees of the T.J. Maxx, 550 East Lancaster Ave., reported a smash-and-grab theft had just occurred. Employees reported two males and a female entered the store and smashed out the glass display cases in the jewelry department. The actors removed a large amount of jewelry and fled the store without paying. They fled the area in a black Jeep.
Retail Theft – On Tuesday, April 4, at approximately 8:38 p.m., store security at the T.J. Maxx Store, 550 East Lancaster Ave., reported a retail theft that had just occurred.
Security told police that a man and woman were seen on video removing security magnets from several products and then exiting the store with those items without making payment. The value of the stolen items was approximately $480.
Theft of Auto – On Thursday, April 6, at approximately 5:09 p.m., a resident on the 400 block of Boxwood Road reported their vehicle was stolen from their driveway. The vehicle was last seen in the driveway at approximately 1:30 p.m. on the same day. The keys were left in the car at the time of the theft.
Theft from Storage Unit – On Thursday, April 6, the resident of the Crestwood Apartments, 421 East Lancaster Ave., reported a theft from their storage unit. The resident told police that sometime between January 2023 and March 27, all the items were removed from their storage locker.
