Garry William Stamberger, age 68 of Brick passed away on April 4, 2023 at Ocean Medical Center. He was born in Passaic, grew up and graduated High School in Rutherford and lived in Point Pleasant Boro before moving to Brick 13 years ago.
Garry was a manufacturer’s representative in the HVAC industry for Stamberger-Sender Associates for over 30 years. He spent many summers boating on the Barnegat Bay. He owned and restored boats, collected classic cars and was a musician. Garry loved being surrounded by his friends and family.
He is predeceased by his parents Walter and Beverly Stamberger.
Garry is survived by his wife of 42 years, Nancy Stamberger, son Peter Stamberger, daughter Julia Ward and her husband Pete, brother Skip Stamberger and his wife Maura, sister, Linda Vanacore and his three adored grandchildren, Elizabeth, Lucy and Molly.
A Memorial Gathering will take place on Friday April 14, 2023 from 4-7pm at O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Rd., Brick, NJ 08724. A religious service will begin at 6:30pm on Friday at the funeral home. Cremation was private.
