Morris-Sussex-Warren Workforce Development Board rebranded to Workforce Development Board of Northwest New Jersey
Morris-Sussex-Warren Workforce Development Board announced today the rebrand of its name to Workforce Development Board of Northwest New Jersey. The goal of the rebranding is to raise awareness of regional services available to both residents and businesses in the tri-county areas. Workforce Development Board of Northwest New Jersey will continue to serve Morris, Sussex, and Warren counties.

About Workforce Development Board of Northwest New Jersey (“WDBNNJ”)
The Workforce Development Board of Northwest New Jersey’s main purpose is to fund, plan and oversee services provided by the One-Stop Career Center workforce system in Morris, Sussex, and Warren counties in New Jersey. The WDBNNJ supports job seeker access to employment, education, training, and support services to succeed in the labor market. The WDBNNJ also supports employers through assistance with recruitment, funds for training new and existing employees, and provides access to the skilled workers businesses need to compete in the global economy.
The WDBNNJ is a board of approximately 21 members. The role of the Workforce Development Board is to serve as a strategic leader and convener of the workforce development system stakeholders to meet the needs of residents and the local businesses. Most members are from the private sector; other members are from social services, labor, community-based organizations, and education. The six committees of the WDB make policy recommendations to the entire board.
