BELMAR – A new development on the plan to build a new skate park over the old one on 818 16th Ave. was reported by councilwoman Jodi Kinney.
“A quick note about the Skate Park at the [our] last meeting. We were able to secure someone who is going to design the park.”
The Platform Design, LLC from Florida provides consulting, design and building of skateparks. According to the company website, the group specializes in designing underutilized spaces and low-maintenance design space.

“We had the platform group who came and brought us renderings of what they thought the park should look like that same group is going to design a little bit more specific designs to bring together artist/engineer plans to get sealed.”
