We said farewell to our daughter this morning and put her on a plane to fly back east to finish up her first year of college. It’s always a difficult goodbye, but she’ll be home for the summer so that’s something we all have to look forward to.
I leave for my eight day trip to Europe on Wednesday and there is much to do before my departure. I find that packing early helps me pack extra light which is important since I’ll be climbing stairs and wheeling my suitcase down cobblestone streets, to be expected when one travels to European countries. I have some content prepared to post during my absence, and I’ll surprise you with my destination when I arrive! It’s somewhere I’ve wanted to visit for many years. 🙂
