I love adding texture to a space, and one easy way to do that is with a rattan lamp. And rattan lamps are definitely having a moment right now. Are you noticing this too? It seems every retailer has at least one rattan lamp option right now. Not that they’re trendy by any means. Rattan is as classic and effortless as a denim jacket, in my opinion. But rattan is definitely on trend.

SO many great options…..but, I had this glass lamp……..
….and some leftover cane binding. And my hot glue gun was still plugged in from the planters I recently made, so I decided to wrap the lamp.
And, I’m in LOVE! This little project took way less time than the planters did. And I just love the fresh look and texture it adds to the guest room/my husband’s home office! It could not have been an easier project. I mean, does it get easier than hot glue?! (You can get a closer look at the texture in this reel.)
So, if you’re in the mood for a quick, easy home decor project and want to rescue a lamp from the Goodwill. ?
P.S. This pleated lampshade is just $20!
