Spring is in the air around these parts or maybe that’s the pollen talking. It’s not normally 80 degrees on March 1st around here, but because it feels so good outside I’ve decided to get a jump start on a few outdoor projects that were left unfinished last summer when the humidity made it just unbearable to work outside any longer. If you follow my Instagram Stories, you know I’m planning to finish working on our outdoor kitchen patio area. And besides finishing up a few paint projects, I’m also planning to switch to copper light fixtures!
Don’t worry, the fan is staying. ? But I’m swapping out the small black cage lights for something a little more decorative.
Last spring I brought in new lighting over the garage doors, and it made such a huge impact.
Last year, I actually used spray paint to get the copper color I wanted on the lights and garage door hardware, but this year there are so many more affordable outdoor copper finish light options!
Of course, number six exists this year! Last year I was looking for something just like it and ended up having to bust out some spray paint to get the look! Isn’t that always how it goes? ? Anyhow, I have no plans to change the garage lights again any time soon, but number one with its mix of brass and real copper would be incredible! It’s on the pricier side, but if my garage doors were forward-facing, I’d definitely consider the investment.
For the outdoor kitchen area, I’m trying to decide between numbers 3 and 8. Which is your favorite?
