Hello, March! We are getting SO CLOSE to revealing our new home soon, and the stress and anticipation have been a LOT to deal with in the last few weeks. But, we’re moving right along, and the calendar has already slipped into a new month! For you, that means a new pattern is now available: this spring-inspired orchid bouquet. Would you even call it a bouquet, or more of just a set? Whatever term you might apply, it’s now ready for you to stitch!
The pollen is already wreaking havoc on my allergies here in Georgia, which means spring is just around the corner (to me, that now also symbolizes the return of Ruby’s Revival projects for those of you who love following along with that series). I always associate Spring with flowers, and orchids tend to bloom in early spring, so it seemed like a good fit to make that the theme for this March. The arrival of the season so early this year has our household in a bit of a debate; I love to welcome the warmer temps and longer days, while K laments over how buggy an early spring might indicate the summer will be (mosquitoes can be brutal in our humid climate).
Frequently Used Cross Stitch Supplies
At any rate, I think these will be lovely to stitch especially if you are in need of a spring pick-me-up wherever you are (does it get warm early for you, or are you still seeing snow out of your window?). Feel free to personalize it further with adding a name or special date that suits you best. I’ve been working on adding a few alphabets to the member site, NeedleSpark, in case you want to head over there to get those patterns as well. Details below!
Because of the “realistic” look, note that there are a number of similar colors used, so be sure to refer to the chart and keep a close eye on the symbols for each color. Happy stitching and I hope you enjoy!
How to see all the 2023 pattern releases and get access to even more designs:
During the winter months is when I start working on the new patterns for the next year. That means over the holidays, I finished up all twelve new designs for 2023! You’ll be able to access them once per month as usual, but there’s a way you can get them early (read below!)
Last summer, I launched a new cross stitch site called NeedleSpark. I only release ONE pattern per month over here on the UDH blog, but now that my new cross stitch site has launched, I have a way to give exclusive early access and lots more. Over there, you’ll find:
- archived patterns that you can’t get over on the blog anymore (like this first fall tree pattern)
- early and new releases not available anywhere else (different color varieties of popular patterns, too)
- I add multiple new patterns each month, sometimes even whole collections (I’ve just released a new moth/butterfly collection that I am OBSESSED with)
- significant savings per pattern because of the membership structure (lower than what you’d typically pay to buy them individually from my Etsy shop, especially if you join as a lifetime member)
If you’ve signed up as a UDH email subscriber, check your emails for an exclusive discount code.
